So you're coming to St. Paul's, great! We can't wait to see you! We know you might be nervous going somewhere new so, let's help you out!  Here is what you can expect when you arrive.

 St. Paul’s UMC
Beach Service

Between Memorial day and Labor Day, St. Paul’s gathers at Karge Street beach for worship Sunday mornings at 8am.

  • Enter at the Karge Street entrance

  • Bring your own blankets or chairs.

  • If you need help with your beach chair, there will be someone at the beach entrance to assist you.

  • In the event of rain, service will be held in the sanctuary. The decision to cancel service in the case of rain will be made by 7:30am and posted on the Church's Facebook page.

  • If worship on the beach isn’t for you, head on over to Central United Methodist Church (729 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742) at 10:30 am for traditional style worship!

When you first arrive at St. Paul's you’ll park on the street with the rest of the community. When you come through the double doors, you will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have or point you in the right direction. Then, you’ll have the chance to choose a seat in our worship space and speak with others before worship begins!

During our 9:00 am Sunday Service we worship with song lead by our praise team, True North, prayer, scripture, and a message given by Pastor Michael, another Pastor, or qualified lay-speaker. Know that the joyful noise of children is always welcome in the sanctuary! Visit our “Pray-ground” which is filled with coloring pages and activities for young ones.

We are excited to have the opportunity to get to know you better after worship. Feel free to hang out, get some coffee and a snack, and meet some of the faith community and leaders while learning about the things God is doing in and through St. Paul’s!

Still have questions about your visit?  Contact us at info@stpaulsbayhead.org and we will be happy to help!
