Small Group Ministry Opportunities
At St. Paul’s, we believe that one of the best ways to grow in our walk with Christ is to be in community with other Christians through small groups. Small groups provide a forum for discussing issues as well as providing support and encouragement. We offer a variety of small group opportunities, some being general in nature, others based on common interests. Feel free to contact the group facilitator or the church office if you have any questions.
Prayer Ministry- Meets every Sunday morning at 8:00 upstairs in the Sunday school office to pray for the ministries of the church and its leadership, and personal prayer concerns.
Children’s Church/Children’s Ministry- Children’s Church (pre-K through 5th grade) meets during the 8:30 Family Contemporary Worship Service in the upstairs Sunday school wing; professionally staffed nursery also runs at the same time, as well as during second service.
Youth Ministry- Meets on Friday evenings at 7:00pm.
Adult Seminars- Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the Fellowship Hall.
Couples’ Ministry- Great for married/engaged/ dating couples. If both partners cannot attend, come alone—it will pay great dividends!
Women of Heart- Meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Time of fellowship and devotion for ladies of all ages.
Men’s Breakfast Ministry- Meets the first Saturday of each month at 8:00am for breakfast, devotional time, and ministry projects.
Boutique Group- Meets Wednesday mornings at 10:00am for fellowship and various ministry craft projects.
The WORD in Film- Covered dish and movie review which watches and then discusses how God is at work in popular movies. Meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Daisies Girl Scout Troop- Meets the first and third Thursdays of the month at 4:30pm.
Al-anon/AA recovery groups- Please call church office for details.
Midweek Bible Study/Family Programs- Check the weekly announcements for the topical studies which are currently being offered.
This list is not exhaustive, and there are many other opportunities for small group ministry. If you would like to participate in a small group ministry but do not see one here which meets your needs, speak with Pastor Scott about starting a new one.
